Ah... Weddings...

So my step sister Jodi got married last night. It was an outdoor wedding. The weather wasn't too bad for the ceremony, it was a little windy but then got a little nippy as the evening went on. But they had an outdoor tent set up so most of us huddled in there. Her dress was fabulous, reminded me of frozen eyes' dress. Her bridesmaids dresses were gorgeous, loved them.

Then next week my brother gets married. We won't have to worry about weather cause his is inside. I don't know any details of theirs yet but I guess I'll find out when I get there. I apparently have to do a speach to welcome my new sister in law to the family... argh, I don't like speaches and I've had my quota for a while since my speach at Frozen Eyes wedding.

Ok, well I'm not really in a mood to write a lot more at the moment. I have to go shower and go grocery shopping before I go to work in a few hours.

It's Mother's Day today...

Well, since it's mother's day today, I got to buy flowers and plant my flower bed. Dustin didn't even complain about how much I spent on flowers. It wasn't that much, but still. But it's all planted with purple alysumm? around the border, pansies (orange and wine colored) and 4 pink petunia plants in the middle. Plus I have the back row of lilies but I don't know what color they are since it was an assorted package and I just planted them this year. Now I have to get my deck boxes back from Froezen eyes so I can plant some for the steps. For those I am going to see if the yellow pansies I started from the seeds I collected last year will grow. I am also going to plant an assortment of stuff in the really big pots I grew peas and tomato plants in last year. Little D wants to grow a garden tomato's and a pumpkin, so I think that we'll have to ask grandma if we can have a spot to do that. I might dig up a spot behind the shed and plant a few tomato plants for him, but I'm afraid that since its a bit out of the way, that the birds and/or gophers will get at them. But I suppose thats a chance to take.

I bought a little red dress to wear for my brothers wedding in a few weeks. I'm probably being optomistic that it actually looks good on me but whatever. Dustin said it looked good, minus that fat rolls which I suck in with my body sucker inner thinger. Now, the decision is bra or no bra. I already tried to find a strapless bra for Frozen eyes wedding to no success. So I think braless, but we'll see.... Got to go, Baby N has done something....

I get easily sidetracked...

I get easily sidetracked which is why I haven't posted anything in a while. I actually haven't even checked my email for a few days so I guess sidetracked isn't the right word, lack of time is more like it. It's been a crazy week. The liquor store changed owners so that is a lot of stress added this past week. Normally, cause the old owner was so nice, we would get off work between 9 and 9:30, but now we actually have to work the entire shift until 10pm, plus now we do cash outs which we didn't before. And we are open until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. So thats really thrown off the sleep schedule. I am exhausted. Hopefully this weekend I'll actually catch up on my sleep, But not likely since I'm going out on Friday night for supper and drinks and then I'm going shopping on Saturday.

Alrighty, I should go and get my sleeping baby up and go to work now.

It's been a few days...

Well I haven't had time to write much lately. I've been quite tired by the time I've gotten home from work. But I have this weekend off and there's lots planned. Firstly, there a big children's clothing sale (used clothes) so thats after work tonite. My friend Bob will be coming for a visit all weekend. Saturday, the sale is still on so I might check it out a 2nd time to make sure I didn't miss anything in the first round of chaos. I might check out some garage sales as well. Then I have a hair appointment at 2pm. Then people are coming over for a fun filled evening of board games. My soon to be sister laws' stag is also Saturday night but I think I'm by passing that because I'm not a big bar scene/drinking person. Hopefully, Sunday is uneventful. But thats my quick update in case I dont' get here all weekend.

Another missed day...

Well I missed another day of work at both jobs. It sucks. I think I'll be able to go tomorrow, but I can't gaurantee I'll make it through the entire day. I had an appointment at the dietician today even though I probably shouldn't have went I did anyways. I spent the entire time sweating my ass off, literally. When I got back home after the appointment, I was literally soaked. It was actually very gross. But then I laid down and slept some more. Because I needed the car to go to the appointment, I had to pick big D up at 5 when he got off work. I was sleeping on couch, I looked up and it was 4:20, the next thing I know the phone is ringing and its 5:30. It was D wondering where I was at. Oops, I swear it was 4:20 when I looked and it seemed like mear seconds later the phone rang. I've barely eaten anything in the last 2 days. I had a slush and that actually made my throat feel somewhat better, except that I couldn't taste it because I just have a gross mouth film that I would really like to go away. And it makes me feel like I have bad breath, which I probably do because of the mouth film. I just want to sleep but last night I went to sleep about 9 and was awake at 3 so I don't really want that to happen especially if I want to go to work tomorrow. Alright, I guess thats enough whining about being sick. I'm going to vegetate some where.

I hate being sick

So I started getting a sore throat at work last night, but whatever. Then I get up this morning and half of my throat is killing me, it hurts to swallow but only on one side, how stupid is that. Then I get to work, early this morning because of our weekly meeting. We haven't even opened yet and my legs start to feel achey. It hurt to stand, and unfortunately, I have to stand for my job. So they let me go after the 2 other girls had there lunch break. But of course I was supposed to work at the liquor store but I started feeling pukey before I left the bank so went down there and said I wouldn't be coming in. I got home at around 1:30/2ish range and crawled into bed. I froze for about an hour and a half until Big D got home with little D to put another blanket on me. I got up to eat some toast about 4, sat staring at the TV until 5 and went back to bed wearing a t-shirt, sweatshirt, slipper socks, and my flannel pj pants, plus my 2 comfortors. I woke up at 7 sweating to death. And then my brother came over so I got up to be a bit sociable. But now my back is still killing me, I have a headache. And of course I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, well dietcian that I have been waiting a month for so I would hate to have to cancel it. ARGH! Sickness sucks! And really I would almost feel better if I was puking then I would feel like I had more of a reason to be home sick. Plus I stayed home sick last Wednesday too, from both jobs. I don't think I've ever missed this much work. Okay, well I'm going to lay back down now, maybe try to read a book until D is finished recording Lost so I can watch it.

Monday's

Well today was a pretty good day over all. Work was really good, which was nice. Grandma took little D so that was great too since we only had to pay for the one at the sitter's today. Saving some cash always good. I still have to do a massive kitchen clean up all last week and the weekend, I've been trying to motivate myself to do it, But I hate cleaning the kitchen. I want to sweep and mop everything, but then I have to move everything, blah. Really, I'm just lazy. And that being said, I'm too lazy to finish this, so I'm going to read my book now.
